A while back I made a prettified, slightly edited version of an awesome chart from UC San Diego’s Human-Computer Interaction course (on Coursera) that compared advantages, disadvantages, and features of various UX usability tests, including A/B testing, surveys, watching users, focus groups, peer feedback / heuristics, and simulations.
